The Studio's space are open for rental when there are no classes or other events in progress. Hot shop rental includes the use of our sound system, one glory hole, furnace, pipewarmer, torch, and annealer for an overnight cycle. Rental times must be booked in advance.
Bookings are taken Monday through Friday 9AM - 5PM. Hourly Rate is $70 per person. Day Rate includes 8 hours for $500. Any additional time is billed at $70 per hour per person. Artists are also able to rent a variety of different types of storage spaces for their equipment, materials, and projects. There is also a lounge with a sink, table, chairs, coffeemaker, and refrigerator that they may use.

PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons offer a student-directed exploration of the techniques offered across our studio. Private lessons pair one student with an experienced teaching artist for an in-depth, guided exploration of a technique of interest. For groups of 3 or more, request a Group Event or a class together! A private lesson is $200. per hour which includes consultations and glass blowing. Basic materials are included for use during lesson, including a variety of available glass frits/color bar, blowtorch, standard pipes, and punties. We ask for a week advance notice to plan a private lesson, in order to ensure that there is mutual availability between The Studio, teaching artist, and you.
